Alcudia lies in the northern part of Majorca and has origins that can be tracked until the 14th century. An important Majorca Event takes also place in Alcudia in January: There is a concert on the 6th January 2011 of the Banda Municipal de Música along with the choir of Alcudia, the Coral Ciutat d'Alcúdia.
