An example for such a boat trip is a trip to Sa Dragonera - dragon island. Only 700m from the Mallorca south end, the island can be reached within 20 minutes. There, you can explore the (protected) nature, as well as three lighthouses up on the hills.

"LOST" in Tenerife

The American TV series "LOST" has more in common with Tenerife than you would think. Used as a setting in one of the former broadcasts, it is also place of birth of one of the "LOST" actors.

lost_tv_show.jpg"LOST" has become a TV series with a cult status not only in the United States but also in Europe and around the globe. It is noteworthy that Tenerife has been chosen to be a setting in one of the former episodes. With 10.5 million viewers in the US, even the vice president of the "Cabildo Insular de Turismo", José Manuel Bermúde took notice of the turning operations and invited the producers to Tenerifa.

There, they can spend their holidays in Tenerife lodging in one of the fabolous hotels in Tenerife. Also, one of the characters was born on the island. Richard Alpert is one of "the others" in "LOST". Therefore, Bermúdez is keen on keeping Tenerife part of one of the most popular TV series in history.

"LOST" deals with the survivors of a plane crash that strand on an lonely island. Later, through mysterious events this island seems to be more than unusual. The tension is kept through new secrets and new disclosures. All the characters, for example, have a connection to each other and especially to the island. "LOST" is a worldwide success that is worth watching.
