Mallorca-Puerto%20Pollenca-a.jpgTourists that book a hotel in Mallorca or an apartment in Mallorca often choose their hotel only regarding to number of stars and the proximity to the beach. But the location needs to be put into consideration also. Therefore, small and rather unknown places can offer you relaxing holidays.

Located in the North of the island, just in the opposite direction of Plma de Mallorca, you will find the small city of Pollença and its bay. Pollença is home of 12,000 inhabitants and several art galleries. This makes the city to one of the cultural centers. Also, there are a couple of paradisal holiday apartments.

Approximately 20 Kilometers away, you will find the Cape of Formentor. A beautiful panorama street leads up the Mallorca's highest point. From there, you have a magnificent view of the island and the sea.

Nice beaches can be found at the bay of Pollença. This bay and its neighbouring bay of Alcúdia are known to be silent and restorative. This bay offers 10 km of great beach and is little bit larger than the bay of Pollença. Sunseekers will love that place, as long as you look for some relaxing hours in the sun.
