Es Vedra is a stone's throw away from the southwest coast of Ibiza. It's a rock with an altitude of 382 m. The rock is surrounded by many myths and legends. For some the rock is the visible part of Atlantis. The island is a nature reserve and is uninhabited.

The tower "Torre del Pirata" offers a beautiful view of the island. The tower was build in 1763. It became famous by the novel "Los Muertos Mandan" written by Blasco IIbaƱez.
