Ibiza Carnival

The island of Ibiza is most famously known for its summer parties, with thousands of people flooding in for the big summer club nights.
Every February before Lent, it's carnival time in Spain, and Ibiza joins in the fun to welcome the spring. Also known as the Mardi Gras or Pancake Tuesday in the rest of the world, during this festival the whole island gets into the mood for celebration. At carnival time locals and tourists wear fancy costumes and go to the streets. Everywhere, the music is loud, good food is served, colours run bright, and alcohol flows endless. Parties and processions during this period lasts for a whole week.
